Official Poverty Line Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 300ff-88 [Title 42. The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 6a. The Public Health Service; HIV Health Care Services Program; General Provisions], official poverty line means the poverty line established by the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and revised by the Secretary in accordance with section 673(2) of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981.
