Offshoring is an employment activity that involves shifting work to a foreign, distant organization in order to reduce production costs in a particular home country. Offshoring is the relocation by a company of a business process from one country to another. Usually, an operational process, such as manufacturing, or supporting processes, like accounting are subjected to offshoring. Even government organizations employ offshoring.
