Oilseed Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 USCS § 7202 (Title 7, Agriculture; Chapter 100, Agricultural Market Transition Act: Short Title, Purpose, and Definitions), the term "oilseed" means “a crop of soybeans, sunflower seed, rapeseed, canola, safflower, flaxseed, mustard seed, or, if designated by the Secretary, other oilseeds.”
