Operating Unit Law and Legal Definition
According to 15 CFR 0.735-4 [Title 15 Commerce and Foreign Trade Subtitle A Office of the Secretary of Commerce; Part 0 Employee Responsibilities and Conduct]operating unit means, "primary and constituent operating units designated as such in the Department Order Series of the Department of Commerce and, in addition, the Office of the Secretary."
