Radiographer Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 34.3 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 34 -- Licenses for Industrial Radiography and Radiation Safety; Requirements for Industrial Radiographic Operations; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term Radiographer means “any individual who performs or who, in attendance at the site where the sealed source or sources are being used, personally supervises industrial radiographic operations and who is responsible to the licensee for assuring compliance with the requirements of the Commission's regulations and the conditions of the license.”
