According to 15 USCS § 2662 (3) [Title 15. Commerce and Trade; Chapter 53. Toxic Substances Control; Indoor Radon Abatement] the term radon means “the radioactive gaseous element and its short-lived decay products produced by the disintegration of the element radium occurring in air, water, soil, or other media.”
