Rapid Response Teams Law and Legal Definition
Rapid response teams provide information to workers who are being laid off in large groups (more than 50 workers) or to workers who work at a facility where the employer has announced that a plant or facility is closing. They are administered by the U.S. Department of Labor. Rapid Response programs exist in every state. It may be a team, a unit or any other such division.
