Rasure Law and Legal Definition
Rasure is the act of scraping the surface of a written instrument to remove writing from it. It also refers to the act of scratching or scraping a writing, so as to prevent some part of it from being read. It is a mark by which a letter, word, or any part of a writing or print, is erased, effaced, or obliterated.
