A realtor is a real estate agent or a broker who is a member of the national association of realtors. Real estate agents to be members of the national association of realtor s/he requires a state licence.
Any person acting as a realtor has to follow the code of ethics and standards of practice. A realtor has a duty towards his or her clients, customers, public and other realtors.
