Receiving Association [Banks & Banking] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 12 USCS § 215b (4) [Title 12. Banks and Banking; Chapter 2. National Banks; Consolidation and Merger], the term receiving association means “the national banking association into which one or more national banking associations or one or more State banks, located within the same State, merge.”
