Receiving Office [Patents] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 35 USCS § 351 (f) [Title 35. Patents; Part IV. Patent Cooperation Treaty; Chapter 35. Definitions], the term Receiving Office means “a national patent office or intergovernmental organization which receives and processes international applications as prescribed by the treaty and the Regulations.”
