Reclamation Committee [Agriculture] Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 632.4 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Department of Agriculture; Chapter VI -- Natural Resources Conservation Service, Department of Agriculture; Subchapter D -- Long Term Contracting; Part 632 -- Rural Abandoned Mine Program; Subpart A – General], reclamation committee means “a committee on a local or State level consisting of representatives of Federal and State agencies and other organizations or individuals that have responsibilities or interest in abandoned mine reclamation. The committee provides guidance to NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) on the operation of the Rural Abandoned Mine Program.”
