Redditus means rent; compensation for the possession of land; a retrun.

Rents, in Latin, redditus; signifies a compensation or return, it being in the nature of an acknowledgment given for the possession of some corporeal inheritance. It is defined to be a certain profit issuing yearly out of lands and tenements corporeal. [Spinning v. Spinning, 43 N.J. Eq. 215 (E. & A. 1887)].
