Referral Agent Law and Legal Definition
According to 13 CFR 103.1 [Title 13 -- Business Credit and Assistance; Chapter I -- Small Business Administration; Part 103 -- Standards for Conducting Business With SBA], referral Agent means a person or entity who identifies and refers an Applicant to a lender or a lender to an Applicant. The Referral Agent may be employed and compensated by either an Applicant or a lender.
