Regidor Law and Legal Definition
Regidor refers to a body consisting of not more than twelve persons which formed a part of a municipal council in every capital of a jurisdiction. The office of regidor was held during the pleasure of the supreme authority usually, for life. The office was purchased in most places whereas in some cities the members were elected.
