Registered Bond Law and Legal Definition
A registered bond is a type of bond where a bond is registered in the name of an owner. This type of bond can only be redeemed, enjoyed, or transferred by the holder of record. A registered bond is issued in the name of the owner printed on the face of the certificate if it is a physical record. In case if the bonds are tracked electronically then the owner’s information is recorded using computers.
