Registrant Information [Public Safety] Law and Legal Definition
Registrant information refers to all the information necessary for the identification of registrants. It includes the name, including any lawful name change together with the previous name, Social Security number, age, race, sex, date of birth, height, weight, hair and eye color, fingerprints, DNA sample, a photograph, aliases used, residence, electronic mail address and any instant messaging, chat, or other Internet communication name identities, a brief description of the crime or crimes committed, and other information the cabinet determined by administrative regulation.
In public safety matters registration system for adults who have committed sex crimes or crimes against minors, a registrant is a person eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the offense or any youthful offender, who has committed a sex crime, a criminal offense against a victim who is a minor, or a sexually violent predator.
