Renewable Resource Energy Conservation Measure Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 455.2 [Title 10 Energy; Chapter II Department of Energy; Subchapter D Energy Conservation; Part 455 -- Grant Programs for Schools and Hospitals and Buildings Owned by Units of Local Government and Public Care Institutions; Subpart A General Provisions], the term renewable resource energy conservation measure means “an energy conservation measure which produces at least 50 percent of its Btu's from a non-depletable energy source.”
