Reporting Market Law and Legal Definition
According to 17 CFR 15.00 (Title 17 -- Commodity and Securities Exchanges; Chapter I - Commodity Futures Trading Commission; Part 15 - Reports - General Provisions), reporting market means “a designated contract market, registered entity under section 1a(29) of the Act, and unless determined otherwise by the Commission with respect to the facility or a specific contract listed by the facility, a registered derivatives transaction execution facility.” (17 CFR 15.00)
