Research Misconduct Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 733.3 [Title 10 Energy; Chapter III Department of Energy; Part 733 Allegations of Research Misconduct], research misconduct means “fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results, but does not include honest error or differences of opinion.”
