Retirement Funds Law and Legal Definition
According to 31 CFR 29.103 [Title 31 -- Money and Finance: Treasury; Subtitle A -- Office of the Secretary of the Treasury; Part 29 -- Federal Benefit Payments Under Certain District of Columbia Retirement Programs; Subpart A -- General Provisions], Retirement Funds means “the District of Columbia Teachers, Police Officers, and Firefighters Federal Pension Fund established under section 11081 of the Act, the District of Columbia Judicial Retirement and Survivors Annuity Fund established under section 11252 of the Act, and their predecessor funds.”
