Retrograde Extrapolation Law and Legal Definition
Retrograde Extrapolation is the term for a scientific analysis of one’s blood alcohol level (BAC), to determine the person’s BAC at a previous time, for example, at the time of driving. This is usually done before a breath, blood or urine specimen is obtained. Retrograde extrapolation is routinely used in pharmacology, toxicology, and clinical medicine.
