Return of Process Law and Legal Definition
Return of process is a statement in writing filed with the court by an officer in respect to the manner in which he has executed a writ or process. It is his official statement of the acts done by him under the writ in obedience to its direction and in conformity with the requirements of law. Return of process is made under oath.
