Talent Agency Law and Legal Definition
Talent agencies are associative organizations that represent members of the film industry in all aspects of business negotiations. Performers, directors, and producers are all part of these agencies. A talent agency will seek employment for their clients as well as reach contractual agreements for them. Such agencies usually receive a commission for their service from the gross pay that a client receives. These agencies are highly knowledgeable about all levels within the film industry. They must also be aware of productions that are on the way for the potential employment of their clients.
