Tech Prep [Education] Law and Legal Definition
Tech Prep is an advanced placement program providing students with academic and applied technical skills together. Tech Prep incorporates secondary and post secondary level of studies. The high school program prepares students to continue in a college program. The program provides a diploma, degree, or two-year apprenticeship certificate. The purpose of Tech Prep is to prepare a student to enter and succeed in a post secondary institution or career. The program entitles students to enter the high wage, highly technical, and rapidly changing career fields available in the present and future workplace.
