Technical Support Working Group [TSWG] Law and Legal Definition
The Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), is a United States interagency forum that coordinates the U.S. government-wide technology development for combating terrorism.
The TSWG works under the Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the Department of State.
The TSWG addresses Research and Development requirement in various application and technology areas of:
a. blast effects and mitigation, chemical, biological, radiological;
b. nuclear countermeasures;
c. explosives detection;
d. improvised device defeat;
e. investigative support and forensics;
f. physical security; and
g. tactical operations support.
