TECRO/AIT Carnet Law and Legal Definition
According to 19 CFR 114.1 [Title 19 -- Customs Duties; Chapter I -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security; Department of the Treasury; Part 114 “ Carnets], TECRO/AIT carnet means the document issued pursuant to the Bilateral Agreement between the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) and the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) to cover the temporary admission of goods.
