Telecommunications Equipment Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 47 USCS § 153 (45), [Title 47. Telegraphs, Telephones, and Radiotelegraphs; Chapter 5. Wire or Radio Communication; General Provisions] the term telecommunications equipment means “equipment, other than customer premises equipment, used by a carrier to provide telecommunications services, and includes software integral to such equipment (including upgrades).”
