Telecommunications Service Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 47 USCS § 153 (46), [Title 47. Telegraphs, Telephones, and Radiotelegraphs; Chapter 5. Wire or Radio Communication; General Provisions] the term telecommunications service means “the offering of telecommunications for a fee directly to the public, or to such classes of users as to be effectively available directly to the public, regardless of the facilities used.”
