Telehealth Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 42 USCS § 254c-16 (4) [Title 42. The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 6A. The Public Health Service; General Powers and Duties; Primary Health Care; Health Centers], the term telehealth means “the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health, and health administration.”
