Telephone Tax Refund Law and Legal Definition
Telephone tax refund refers to the refunding of all excise tax paid by a taxpayer on long-distance telephone services. Telephone tax refund is available over the amount billed to taxpayers for a period after Feb. 28, 2003. It shall be applicable to taxes on landline, wireless, or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services.
