Teletax is a fully automated IRS phone service that provides prerecorded information on various tax topics. The prerecorded information covers around 150 different tax-related concerns to the taxpayers, such as who must file the tax, tax credits, retirement accounts and payment arrangements.
Teletax also offers the tax filers with automatic information about his/her refund status. Generally, updated information is delivered to the taxpayer around four to five weeks after filing.
