Telework Agreement Law and Legal Definition
According to 5 CFR 531.602 [Title 5 -- Administrative Personnel; Chapter I -- Office of Personnel Management; Subchapter B -- Civil Service Regulations; Part 531 -- Pay Under the General Schedule; Subpart F -- Locality-Based Comparability Payments], telework agreement means “a formal oral or written agreement between a supervisor and an employee to permit the employee to work at an alternative worksite (i.e., telework) instead of the location of the employee's assigned organization.”
