According to 31 CFR 13.2 (Title 31 - Money And Finance: Treasury; Subtitle A - Office Of The Secretary Of The Treasury; Part 13 - Procedures For Providing Assistance To State And Local Governments In Protecting Foreign Diplomatic Missions), the term temporary domicile means “a domicile of limited duration of a visiting foreign dignitary or officer in connection with a visit to a permanent or observer mission to an international organization in a metropolitan area.”
