Term Life Insurance Law and Legal Definition
Term life insurance is an insurance contract which covers an individual for a certain period of time. It provides protection for a specified number of years and then expires without value if the insured survives the stated period. Premiums for term life insurance are usually considerably lower than whole life policies which accumulate a cash value.
