Therapeutic Dosage Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 35.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 35 -- Medical Use of Byproduct Material; Subpart A -- General Information], the term therapeutic dosage means “a dosage of unsealed byproduct material that is intended to deliver a radiation dose to a patient or human research subject for palliative or curative treatment.”
