Third-Party Audit [Food and Drugs] Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 21 CFR 1300.03 [Title 21 Food and Drugs; Chapter II Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Justice; Part 1300 Definitions], Third-Party Audit means “an independent review and examination of records and activities to assess the adequacy of system controls, to ensure compliance with established policies and operational procedures, and to recommend necessary changes in controls, policies, or procedures.”
