TICRS Law and Legal Definition
TICRS means the Trademark Image Capture & Retrieval System. It is a database used within the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for trademark related tasks. The TICRS scans, stores, and provides access to images of papers/documents associated with trademark registrations.
USPTO employees who are responsible for reviewing submissions from trademark filers, and transmitting official correspondence to trademark filers can access the TICRS. The TICRS is also available, without incurring any accessing charge, to all members of the public who visit the USPTO to review papers submitted by the public, or issued by the USPTO in connection with trademark applications/registrations.
