Time reversion clause is a clause or term entered in a contractual agreement between a publisher and a song writer. By including the clause in a contract, a publisher agrees to secure recording and release for songwriter’s material within a certain period of time. If the recording and release does not take place, the song rights will be reverted back to the writer.
