Total Emissions Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 300.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter II -- Department of Energy; Subchapter B -- Climate Change; Part 300 -- Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program: General Guidelines], the term total emissions means “the total annual contribution of the greenhouse gases (as defined in this section) to the atmosphere by an entity, including both direct and indirect entity-wide emissions.”
