According to 5 CFR 550.103 [Title 5 -- Administrative Personnel; Chapter I -- Office of Personnel Management; Subchapter B -- Civil Service Regulations; Part 550 -- Pay Administration (General); Subpart A -- Premium Pay; General Provisions], tour of duty means “the hours of a day (a daily tour of duty) and the days of an administrative workweek (a weekly tour of duty) that constitute an employee's regularly scheduled administrative workweek.”
