Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Law and Legal Definition
A database of annual toxic releases from certain manufacturers compiled from the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). Manufacturers must report annually to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA compiles these reports and makes the information available to the public under the "Community Right-to-Know Act”.
