Trademark Document Retrieval System (TDR) Law and Legal Definition
Trademark Document Retrieval System (TDR) was formed by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). TDR displays the electronic file wrapper of U.S. Trademark applications and applications for extensions of protection, and U.S. trademark registrations. It also displays information contained in the USPTO records regarding International Registrations and applications for International Registration filed under the Madrid system through the U.S.
TDR provides public access to all or any document contained in the electronic file wrapper of almost all pending trademark applications, and registrations. Public can view and download such documents. Even pending applications will be accessible.
