Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) Law and Legal Definition
Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) is the official on-line application facility of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). TEAS helps the applicant to file an application through the internet. TEAS allows the applicant to complete a trademark application, check it for completeness, and submit the completed validated application directly to the USPTO over the Internet. The applicant can also pay the necessary fees using an on-line credit card transaction or a USPTO deposit account through TEAS.
