Traffic Homicide Investigator [THI] Law and Legal Definition
Traffic Homicide Investigator (THI) refers to a law enforcement officer who investigates deaths occurred from motor vehicle accidents. THI are the officers who are specially trained in traffic laws.
Some duties of THI are the following:
1.Documenting the scene of crash;
2. Documenting the curvature and width of the road where the fatality occurred;
3.Documetning the attitude of the operators of the vehicles;and
4.Documenting many other other elements affecting collissions
