Traffic Management Plan [TMP] Law and Legal Definition
Traffic Management Plan or TMP is a plan established to clearly direct and control traffic disruptions that call for co-ordinated actions from several services responsible for road and traffic management on a given road or network. TMP determines the placement of barricades, warning lights, or signs for the duration of the highway incident impeding normal traffic flow. TMP aims at facilitating cross-border road traffic management, and imparting traffic information to drivers, prior to and during their trip.
