Transmission Customer Law and Legal Definition
According to 18 CFR 37.3 (Title 18 -- Conservation Of Power And Water Resources; Chapter I - Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Department Of Energy; Subchapter B - Regulations Under The Federal Power Act; Part 37 - Open Access Same-Time Information Systems), Transmission Customer means “any eligible customer (or its designated agent) that can or does execute a transmission service agreement or can or does receive transmission service.”
