Transmission Organization Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 796 (29), [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 12. Federal Regulation and Development of Power; Regulation of the Development of Water Power and Resources] the term Transmission Organization means “a Regional Transmission Organization, Independent System Operator, independent transmission provider, or other transmission organization finally approved by the Commission for the operation of transmission facilities.”
