According to 40 CFR 3.3 [Title 40, Protection Of Environment Chapter I, Environmental Protection Agency Subchapter A, General Part 3, Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Subpart A, General Provisions ] transmit means “to successfully and accurately convey an electronic document so that it is received by the intended recipient in a format that can be processed by the electronic document receiving system”.
