Treaty of Peace Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 22 USCS § 1631 (3) [Title 22. Foreign Relations And Intercourse; Chapter 21. Settlement Of International Claims; Vesting And Liquidation Of Bulgarian, Hungarian, And Rumanian Property] the term treaty of peace, with respect to a country, means “the treaty of peace with that country signed at Paris, France, February 10, 1947, which came into force between that country and the United States on September 15, 1947.”
